JULY 3-6 2019
“BLESSED is he who is NOT OFFENDED because of Me.” ~ Jesus (Mt 11:6)
We live in a culture where offense is all around us. Political beliefs, religious beliefs, justice and injustice, saying the wrong phrase or liking a different food group; suddenly you are in a war of offense and you didn’t even mean to be. How do we live in a culture of offense? What happens if we are the ones offended? What will you do when God chooses, in His divine wisdom, to do things or say things in a way that does not seem right to us?
Come explore with us and wrestle with what it looks like to live UNOFFENDED.
Jump-In High School Overnight Camp is first and foremost a training ground where we equip youth to live as forerunners for Jesus, fully devoted to a lifestyle of wholeheartedness before God. We want to help kids meet God, see God and experience God by going deeper in prayer, deeper in worship, deeper in devotion to Him and deeper in passion for those in need and those who don't know God.
We have many fun activities planned for you to enjoy. New friends, new experiences and a deeper passion for God are what we strive to impart to everyone attending. Camp will include, swimming, river float, games, optional art projects, service projects, prayer, worship, teaching sessions, discussion groups and and of course some good old patriotic 4th of July fun.
4th of July
We will take part in some of the 4th of July celebration that the city of Canby sponsors in the town square. Campers will be given a stippen to choose lunch from the many vendors around the square. There are also snacks and craft items for purchase if kids want to bring their own spending money to town. Campers will be given the opportunity to join Carl Madison and Heather Ott in Evangelistic outreach. Those who are net yet comfortable to do outreach can simply enjoy the festivities while in the square. Later in the after noon we will have a pool party BBQ and fireworks supplied by Canby Grove. Campers, however, are not allowed to bring any fireworks of their own onto the camp property.
Carl and Gabby Madison, with their two children Caleb and Rachel are very active family working to see the gospel spread everywhere in anywhere. They have spent the last 20 years preaching the gospel, making disciples and restoring families. Traveling to universities across America and internationally working with people who are hungry for Jesus. The Madison’s are a family who love to serve others and see their potential birthed and as they are sent to do what God is calling individuals too.
