Summer Camps

Jump In is excited to bring back to Canby Grove Christian Center the much loved tradition of Summer Day Camps. We have 6 weeks of camps planned full of activities to keep your child entertained. Each week will be jam packed with activities that will include swimming, water games, field activities, crafts and much more all incorporated into the weeks theme. Every week will feel like a new adventure.
 
Camps are geared for 6–11 year olds who are going into the 1st through fifth grades
fall of 2013. Campers must have turned 6 years old before June 26th and enjoyed kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year.

Middle School Camp

Mon July 24- Th July 27, 2017

Middle School Camp is during the same week of Grade School Camp, but is run as its own separate camp.

Activities, meals, sleeping arrangements and sessions will all be separate from the grade schoolers. Worship times will be together and occasional games may crossover.

Jump-In Overnight Camp is first and foremost a a camp where we equip and encourage kids to live as forerunners for Jesus, fully devoted to a lifestyle of wholeheartedness before God. We want to help kids meet God, see God and experience God by going deeper in prayer, deeper in worship, deeper in devotion to Him and deeper in passion for those in need and those who don't know God. 

We have many fun activities planned for your child to enjoy a great week of summer camp. New friends, new experiences and a deeper passion for God are what we strive to give to your child. Camp will include, swimming, river float, field activites, giant tree swing, crafts, movie under the stars, glow-in-the-dark dance party, fireside fun, worship & teaching sessions and much more.

Grades 7 & 8

If your child is going into 7th or 8th grade fall of 2017 this is the camp for them.

Camp Drop-Off & Pick-Up 

Check-in begins at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017.
You are responsible for arranging transportation for your camper to and from camp. Camp will end Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 6:30.  Please pick up your camper by 6:45pm.  All campers will have been fed dinner before pick up.

Extra Money

The snack shack will be open every day with snacks ranging from 50¢ to $5.00. All campers will have an opportunity to visit the snack shack. All money brought to camp will be put into an account for your camper at the beginning of camp. Amount that is not spent will be returned on the last day. This is a precaution to keep money from being lost or stolen during camp.

Mail for Campers

If you would like to send mail to your camper please mail to Canby Grove Conference Center, 7501 S. Knights Bridge Rd, Canby, OR 97013. We cannot guarantee return mail for letters and packages that come after the camp date but we will do our best to return it if there is a return address.

Cell Phone Policy

If your child brings a cell phone to camp we will keep the phone locked up in the office. If you need them to call you during camp please contact the office and we can make arrangements for that to take place. This policy is in order to protect your child from losing their phone or getting it stolen and protects children from possibly being exposed to inappropriate subject matter from other campers sharing phones. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. It makes it easier for our staff to protect the children that join us at camp and make it a fun experience for everyone. 

Health Form

After your registration is submitted we will send you a health form to fill out and send back to Canby Grove. We are no longer doing online forms. 

Camp Safety

We would like you to know that your child's safety during camp is our highest priority. We make sure that the campers are under constant supervision with trained cabin leaders who are 17 and older. All adults on campus have had a background check. We have two cabin leaders to every 10 children that continually work together throughout the week. 

We also make every effort to help the campers get along with each other and include each other in all activities while learning to interact with each other with the heart of God. We want all of our campers to feel loved and cared for throughout the whole week.

Parent rooms are available if you would like to spend the week at camp alongside your child. Please visit our Family Accommodations Page to find more information regarding housing and meals and background checks.

 

Camp Cost

$195.00 Per Camper
Family discounts are available for families with more than 2 children attending camp. 3 or more children is $170 per camper.

$25 Non-Refundable Deposit:
Due at registration and is applied to the cost of camp but is non-refundable.

    [For glow in the dark party night]
  • Sweatshirt or light jacket for cool evenings
  • No low cut or spaghetti strapped tank tops
  • No "short" shorts please
  • Modest swimsuit
    (t-shirt over a two-piece)
  • Pajamas or shirt & sweatpants
  • 2 pairs of shoes (one pair should be shoes to run in)
  • River walking shoes if you already own a pair.
  • Bath towel & Washcloth
  • Toiletries
  • Bible and notebook

  • Camera & film (optional)
  • Flashlight
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunscreen
  • Extra plastic bag for wet clothes
  • Water Bottle (optional, but useful)
